On Monday, April 15, in the morning, the Russians struck the center of Sloviansk, located in Donetsk region. As a result of the attack, residential buildings were damaged.
This was reported by the Sloviansk city military administration, citing the head of the SMA Vadym Lyakh.
“A gloomy morning today in Sloviansk. Around 7 a.m., the city was shelled; a missile hit the central part of the city – on Poshtova Street. Stay strong, we are together. Take care of yourselves”, he said.
It is noted that as a result of this shelling, multi-storey buildings were damaged, and a large crater with water formed. There were no casualties.
In total, over the past day, the Russians shelled the populated areas of Donetsk region 12 times. 59 people, including 3 children, were evacuated from the front line
Pokrovsky district. In Ocheretino, one person was killed, and 2 were injured; 2 multi-storey buildings were damaged. Krasnohorivka suffered an air strike, and Katerynivka and Yelizavetivka were under artillery fire. The outskirts of Pokrovsk came under rocket attack.
Kramatorsk district. In the Lyman community, Yampolivka and Terni were shelled. In the morning, the enemy shelled Sloviansk — 2 multi-storey buildings were damaged. The villages of the Kostiantynivka community were under fire.
Bakhmut district. In Toretsk, 2 houses and an infrastructure facility were damaged; in Shcherbynivka, 3 houses were damaged. In the Chasovyarska community, 14 private houses and a multi-storey building were damaged. In Siversk, 2 houses and 2 non-residential structures were damaged.
