The opening will take place by the end of the week.

At the end of the week, a new drop-shaped art object will be opened in the capital next to the Arsenalna metro station, which will symbolize the unity of Kyiv and Kharkiv cities. The mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko announced this on Facebook.

“We are installing an interesting new art object on our beautiful square next to Arsenalna metro station, which we will open at the end of this week. The “Unity” project was implemented by the Kharkiv METALSTYLE workshop. Symbolic metal-mirror drops were created to be placed on the central square of Kharkiv until the City Day. But due to the shelling of Kharkiv, which continues to be carried out by russian barbarians, it is now impossible to install an art object there. And the authors made a proposal to decorate the public space of Kyiv with giant drops.

The A-Station space is the most successful place for the location of this art object. Here, the symbolic drops will reflect history (the Arsenal buildings and the commandant’s office, as well as modern Kyiv),” Klitschko wrote.

According to the authors’ idea, the drops gravitate both to the ground and to each other, symbolizing the unity of the two cities – the capital of Ukraine Kyiv and Kharkiv, which today bravely resists the Russian aggressor.

“Kyiv with Kharkiv! We support and help Kharkiv and its residents as much as we can. Together we will stand and win! Slava Ukraini! (Glory to Ukraine! – ed.)” – Klitschko emphasized.
