The UAF neither confirmed nor denied the reports of a possible landing of troops on the occupied territory of Kherson region
According to Natalia Humeniuk, the spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces, work in this direction is ongoing and requires information silence.
“I want everyone to understand that very complex work is underway when it is necessary to cross such an obstacle as the Dnipro River, especially when the front line passes through such a wide and powerful river. Therefore, the conditions of the military operation require information silence until it is safe for our troops. Therefore, patience is needed here”, said Humeniuk.
The spokesperson reminded that the enemy often uses information as a weapon and called for adhering to information silence.
As previously reported, the War Studies Institute suggests that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have taken positions on the left bank of the Kherson region. According to analysts, geolocation footage published by Russian bloggers shows that Ukrainian forces have taken positions on the Dnipro River bank north of Oleshky (7 km southwest of Kherson) and advanced to the northern outskirts of the settlement on the E97 highway, as well as to the west of Dacha (10 km south of Kherson).
