Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked an aircraft factory named after Gorbunov in Kazan. The enemy manufactures and repairs Tu-22M and Tu-160M bombers there.

This information was reported by sources in the special services to RBC-Ukraine.

According to sources, explosions occurred at the Gorbunov Aircraft Factory in Kazan on April 17 around 10 a.m. (Kyiv time). Local media and social media users reported that an air raid siren sounded in the vicinity of the Kazan aviation plant before the explosions. At the same time, the evacuation of the plant’s personnel began.

Meanwhile, Rosaviatsiya announced that the airports in Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, and Nizhny Novgorod are temporarily not accepting or dispatching flights.
