"Ukrgazvydobuvannya" has commissioned two high-flow wells with a total capacity of over 200,000 cubic meters per day. Both wells were drilled at the same field.

This was reported by the press service of “Ukrgazvydobuvannya.”

The first well was initially drilled in 1975 but was later placed in the inactive fund due to technical complications. To restore this high-flow well, a decision was made to drill a side branch and subsequently conduct several stages of hydraulic fracturing. This approach proved successful, providing an additional 100,000 cubic meters of natural gas.

The second well, an appraisal-production well, also yields over 100,000 cubic meters of gas. The successful choice of its location on the northern contour and the implementation of four stages of hydraulic fracturing contributed to this result.

It is worth noting that in July, three wells were opened in Ukraine with a combined flow rate of 425,000 cubic meters of gas per day. They emerged on an old field thanks to in-depth analysis of development and 3D models. On this field, there are already 10 new wells, with a daily production exceeding 3 million cubic meters of gas.
