On September 18, at the military airfield "Chkalovsky" near Moscow, two aircraft, an An-148 and an Il-20, belonging to the 354th Special Purpose Aviation Regiment, were detonated by unknown individuals.
This information was reported by Ukrainian intelligence.
Additionally, a Mi-28N helicopter was destroyed, which the Russians had deployed to combat the downing of attack drones over the Moscow region.
The incident has raised concerns among senior military circles in Russia because government aircraft, including reconnaissance planes, are based at the airfield.
The damage to the aircraft and helicopter is substantial, and their restoration will take a considerable amount of time. Another An-148, which was parked nearby, suffered minor damage.
Russia is currently investigating the incident and is restricting the release of information to the media.
