Ukraine has caught up with Russia in the production of Shahed analog kamikaze drones.
This was stated by the Minister for Strategic Industries, Oleksandr Kamishin, during a televised marathon.
He added that these drones are similar to Russian-Iranian drones in all technical parameters and are not inferior in any way. The defense forces already use them to strike Russia.
However, the minister noted that the capabilities of the Ukrainian defense complex are twice as large as what Ukraine can buy.
What can be afforded with budget funds has already been contracted. Therefore, the government is calling on allies to purchase drones from domestic manufacturers for Ukraine.
