The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) struck a Russian radar station in the Bryansk region. This station monitored the sky up to 700 km inside Ukraine.
This was reported by a source in law enforcement agencies.
This time, the Russians lost one more modernized “Nebo-U” complex, which helped the enemy detect Ukrainian weapons and supported bombers attacking Ukraine’s borders with cruise missiles. Such a radar station costs $100 million.
It was hit by 7 kamikaze drones of aircraft type. As noted, as a result of the attack, the “Nebo-U” complex no longer operates and has “likely turned into a sieve”.
This radar system is capable of tracking up to 200 targets and was adopted by the Russian army 5 years ago. This is the second “Nebo-U” complex destroyed by the 13th Main Directorate of Military Counterintelligence of the SBU. The first was destroyed in the Belgorod region of Russia.
