More than 1.5 billion UAH have been allocated today for the reconstruction of the Zmiivska TPP in the Kharkiv region and the Trypilska TPP in the Kyiv region.
This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.
It is noted that 726 million UAH were allocated to the state company “Centrenergo” from the state budget’s reserve fund. An additional 826 million UAH were allocated from the fund for the elimination of the consequences of aggression.
Recall that on the night of April 11, the Russians completely destroyed the Trypilska thermal power plant in the Kyiv region. The strikes caused a massive fire in the turbine hall. The reactor hall is the only safe place, while the rest of the facilities lack pinpoint protection.
Also, at the end of March, Russian terrorist forces destroyed one of the largest TPPs in the Kharkiv region, the Zmiivska TPP. The strike on March 22 destroyed all units and damaged auxiliary equipment. The degree of destruction varies from complete to significant.
