Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation, the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption has added 25 leading international companies to the list of sponsors of the war.
This was stated by the NAPC.
The companies were added to the list because they continue to operate in Russia and pay taxes there, financing the killing of Ukrainians. The list includes Procter & Gamble, Xiaomi, Bonduelle, Yves Rocher, Auchan, Leroy Merlin, Metro, Raiffeisen Bank, Otp Bank, and others.
The NAPC reminded that some well-known corporations still cannot get rid of the consequences of their cooperation with the Nazi regime, even though decades have passed. It is noted that all companies added to the list are entered into the well-known World-Check database, which keeps track of individuals and organizations with a high risk.
“When the NAPC adds a company to the list, it automatically appears in the database in red. Thus, anyone who wants to cooperate with such a company sees that it is very risky in terms of reputation and finance”, the statement said.
It should be reminded that on April 13, the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption added the Chinese company Xiaomi Corporation to the list of international sponsors of the war. The reason was its reluctance to leave the Russian market after the full-scale invasion. Here is the full list.
