Ukraine will evacuate all civilians from the Donetsk region town of Avdiivka in the near future.

The Chief of the Joint Staff of the Defense Forces of the Tavria Direction, Serhiy Telyatitsky, announced that during a televised marathon.

According to Telyatitsky, there are still some civilians in the town, although very few.

“There are very few of them left there, and most likely all civilians will be evacuated from Avdiivka in the near future”, Telyatitsky noted.

He also mentioned that all civilians from Maryinka were evacuated earlier this year.

Only in the last day, the occupiers lost about two platoons of their soldiers killed or wounded on the Tavria Direction. According to Telyatitsky, the occupiers resort to so-called “meat grinder attacks,” heading into battle without heavy equipment or fire support.

Former commander of the “Aidar” battalion platoon, Yevhen Dikyy, is convinced that the Russian army no longer has the forces and means to fight for two district centers simultaneously – Avdiivka and Bakhmut.

Despite heavy shelling, on April 26, the Commander of the Special Operations Forces, Brigadier General Viktor Khorenko, visited Bakhmut. He stated that the situation in the town is difficult, but the work of special forces demonstrates the advantage of quality over quantity.
