On February 29th, the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down two Russian Su-34 fighter jets on the Avdiivka and Mariupol directions.
This was reported by the Commander of the Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk.
“It seems they just don’t get it! Russian pilots are not drawing any conclusions! Today, around 9:00 a.m., two more Su-34 occupant aircraft were destroyed on the Avdiivka and Mariupol directions”, he said.
It is worth noting that another Su-34 was shot down on the Eastern direction last night.
Taking into account the current information, as of February 29th, the Defense Forces have shot down 13 Russian aircraft since the beginning of this month.
