On September 19, Ukrainian forces successfully struck a headquarters of the Russian occupiers in the vicinity of the temporarily occupied city of Melitopol.
This information was reported by the Strategic Communications Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Around 07:00, the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully struck a headquarters of the occupiers in the area of the temporarily occupied Melitopol. Glory to the Armed Forces of Ukraine!”, the statement reads.
In the morning, the Mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, noted that the anti-air defense of the occupiers in the occupied city “cannot keep up.” According to him, local residents reported more than five explosions, with the most significant occurring in the area of “AvtoKolorLyt”.
