According to the Ukrainian intelligence, the assessment made by U.S. President Joe Biden regarding 100,000 Russian casualties in Bakhmut has been confirmed.

This was stated by Andriy Yusuov, representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, during a telethon broadcast.

“There are no discrepancies here. There are questions regarding the difference in methodology. There is one approach where overall losses are presented together with killed and wounded, or separately for eliminated and separately for wounded. Similarly, the question arises about the period over which this is reported”, he said.

According to him, there is constant exchange of information with our partners.

“And there are no discrepancies between this data. The losses of the Russians in Bakhmut are indeed colossal and do not correspond to the stated goals or announced results”, Yusuov added.

It should be noted that Biden made the corresponding statement in the context of the future counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the possible transfer of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.
