"Ukrposhta" received three honorary awards at the prestigious "World Post & Parcel Awards 2023." In particular, the stamp "Russian warship, go f..." was named the best in the world in 2022.
This was announced by “Ukrposhta.”
The postal company was honored with awards of the honorary prize in the field of postal and express delivery in three categories: “Philatelic Campaign of the Year”, “Postal Operator”, and in the special nomination “Industry Leader”. The solemn award ceremony took place on June 14 in Tallinn.
“2022 became a year of rebooting, uplifting, and true flourishing for Ukrainian philately. Ukrposhta’s example has proven that this industry can have extraordinary demand and popularity. Ukrainian philately has attracted interest not only within the country but also worldwide”, the statement said.
The stamp “Russian warship, go f…” was also recognized as the best in the world in 2022. It will now be featured in the exhibition of the Smithsonian Postal Museum in Washington. Ukrposhta reminded that the circulation of this stamp is 5 million copies.
In addition, copies of Ukrainian wartime stamps are present in the collections of heads of state and leaders of international organizations who visited Ukraine during 2022.
It should be noted that “Ukrposhta” presented a charitable postal issue called “Children of Victory Draw the Future of Ukraine” on the occasion of the International Children’s Defense Day.
