Ukrainian military forces have liberated the settlement of Andriivka, located to the south of Bakhmut.
This information was reported by Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar.
“On the Bakhmut front, we are advancing. The enemy is trying to regain lost positions on the northern flank. But on the southern front, we are making successful progress. The main battles are taking place in the areas of Andriivka, Kurdiumivka, and Klishchiivka. And we have good news from there. Andriivka is ours”, Maliar stated.
It’s worth noting that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been liberating parts of the Opitne area near Donetsk over the past week and consolidating their positions at achieved frontlines.
