“Ukrzaliznytsia” launched a modernized train on the Kyiv City Express route, in which great attention was paid to the needs of cyclists. This is stated in message on the Ukrzaliznytsia Telegram channel.
The features of the new electric train are a doubled number of bike racks with a changed design – now they have soft nozzles on the wheel locks, which protects bicycles from damage.
Ukrzaliznytsya also took care of other amenities: upper handrails were installed for the passenger amenity, and the design of the stairs was changed. At the same time, “all the advantages from the previous versions of inclusive electric trains have been retained,” the message states.
