Border guards in the Kyiv region discovered unconventional munitions left by Russian occupiers fleeing the region.

This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

“During the inspection of the border area of the Kyiv region, where Russian aggressors were stationed in the spring of 2022, an unloading vest with documents and a badge with the personal number of a serviceman from the aggressor country was found. Three grenades and nearly 650 rounds of 7.62 mm caliber were also discovered”, the statement said.

Law enforcement officers noted that among the findings was a hand-held aerosol grenade K-51, which is prohibited by the Chemical Weapons Convention and the Geneva Protocol.
