On Thursday, July 14, at a meeting in Jerusalem, Joe Biden will ask Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid to increase Israrl’s military aid to Ukraine.
This was reported by the Axios portal with reference to American officials.
It is noted that Israel has not yet provided Ukraine with modern weapons for the front line. But under pressure from the Biden administration, Israel did adjust its policy toward Moscow.
Ukraine also asked Israel several times for counter-drone systems, but the requests have been rejected.
According to media reports in May, Israel rejected a US request to allow Berlin to supply Ukraine with anti-tank guided missiles made in Germany using Israeli technology. In February, it was reported that before the start of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the US tried to put an “Iron Dome” rocket interception system on Ukraine with the presence of its army, but Tel Aviv managed to prevent it.
Germany has published a list of weapons that it will provide to Ukraine to fight against the Russian invaders.
