President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky instructed to reschedule all international events planned for the coming days.

This was reported by the president’s spokesperson Serhiy Nykyforov.

“Volodymyr Zelensky held a daily briefing, primarily regarding the situation in Kharkiv region and the support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The president listened to the report of the Chief of the General Staff Anatoliy Bargilyevich. Commanders of the State Border Guard Service, National Guard, and directly the Head of the General Staff Oleksandr Syrskyi, who makes all decisions based on comprehensive information, are working on-site. Additional forces are being deployed, reserves are available. Intelligence services — the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) and the Special Operations Forces (SZR) – observe all probable actions of the enemy. Oleksandr Syrskyi regularly briefs the president on the situation”, the message said.

He added that Zelensky ordered to postpone all international events with his participation scheduled for the nearest days and to work out new dates for their conduct.

According to CNN, Zelensky canceled trips to Spain and Portugal due to the serious internal situation that has arisen in Ukraine at present. It is worth reminding that it was previously reported that in the coming days the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky would visit Madrid and sign a bilateral security agreement with Spain.
