On August 22, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with the heads of the governments of Croatia and North Macedonia. They discussed defense, Eurointegration, and humanitarian demining.

This was reported on the official Telegram channel of the Ukrainian President.

With the Prime Minister of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, they discussed a new package of defense support, grain exports, and issues related to humanitarian demining.

“A wonderful meeting with Prime Minister Andrej Plenković of Croatia. A new package of defense support. Grain exports, particularly through the Danubian and Adriatic ports of Croatia. Humanitarian demining. Grateful to Croatia for its assistance to Ukraine and global leadership in this field”, the post stated.

Additionally, Volodymyr Zelensky held talks with the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Dimitar Kovačevski.

“We discussed the development of defense cooperation and agreed to coordinate steps towards a common goal – EU accession”, the president added.

On August 22, Volodymyr Zelensky also spoke with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić. Furthermore, he engaged with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the President of Bulgaria, Nikola Dimitrov.
