Currently, Ukraine is doing everything in its power to ensure a decision on EU membership is made this year and not to miss this special moment.
This was statedby the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
“We are doing everything to achieve a political decision on Ukraine’s membership in the European Union this year”, he emphasized.
According to the President, the current political generation in Ukraine is capable of making it happen.
“And I am confident that we will not miss this special moment”, the President added.
He also noted that the “borders of the European Union will be the borders of the European continent” with “no gray areas”.
As a reminder, on October 31, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, announced that there would be news with a “positive effect” regarding Ukraine’s progress towards EU membership by the end of the week.
