Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in Brussels with an unannounced visit to participate in a "Ramstein" format meeting.
This was reported in the president’s Telegram channel.
“Brussels, Belgium. A visit to the NATO headquarters, which will be of great importance for our resilience this winter”, the announcement states.
According to Zelensky, he will meet there with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg and U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.
“For the first time offline, I will take part in a ‘Ramstein’ format meeting. I have an important address to all the defense ministers of the participating countries in this powerful coalition”, Zelensky announced.
Furthermore, the President will hold talks in Brussels with the Prime Minister of Belgium, Alexander De Croo, for the second time since the full-scale war began.
It’s worth noting that yesterday, on October 10, Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Romania on an official visit. There, he met with the heads of both chambers of the Romanian Parliament, Nicolae Chuke and Alfred Simonis, as well as the country’s Prime Minister, Marcel Ciolacu.
