An explosion was heard in the city of Lviv in the morning, on May 19.

According to preliminary information, the objective of the attack by “Shahed” drones was a critical infrastructure object in the city. There were no casualties. “Between 4 and 5 a.m., Lviv region was attacked by “Shahed” drones. Our air defense forces and means were activated. There are no casualties”, added the head of the military administration of the region, Maxim Kozytskyi.
Earlier, we reported that the Ukrainian Air Force destroyed 19 out of 22 Russian “Shahed” drones and 3 out of 6 “Kalibr” missiles launched by the aggressors against Ukraine on the night of May 19. The occupiers attacked Ukraine from the northern and southeastern directions using Shahed-136/131 attack drones and Kalibr cruise missiles launched from ships in the Black Sea. In total, 22 “Shahed” drones and six “Kalibr” missiles were launched.
