Today, on May 18, the enemy launched strikes on the village of Tsyrkuny in Kharkiv region. A projectile hit a private residential house, causing the death of one person and injuring two others.
This was reported by Oleg Synehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
“According to preliminary information, the ‘arrival’ occurred in the village of Tsyrkuny, Kharkiv district. Direct hits on a private residential house have been recorded”, he stated.
According to the data from the Regional Emergency Medical Center, one person was killed as a result of the occupiers’ rocket strike on the village of Tsyrkuny. Two more civilians were injured. Medical personnel are providing them with all the necessary assistance.
As known, all emergency services are currently working at the scene. Information regarding the affected individuals and damages is being clarified.
As we reported earlier, Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar stated that Russian occupiers have increased the number of shelling incidents in border regions over the past month, with the most frequent attacks targeting the Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Sumy regions.
